Program terms

Enrollment and use terms

Scope of the credential

The Academy certificate documents completion of a private, non-credit training program. It does not confer licensure, academic credit, employment, court appointment, CASA/GAL status, background clearance, or independent authority to act in a child-welfare matter.

Learner responsibilities

Learners must provide accurate information, protect their credentials, complete their own work, follow course conduct and confidentiality rules, and use fictional or properly de-identified material only. Identifiable live case records are prohibited.

Access and completion

Director approval provides personal, non-transferable LMS access under the approved track. Certification completion depends on satisfying assigned coursework, assessment, practicum, remediation, and final-examination requirements. Course-audit learners may complete audit-eligible activities but do not receive competency verification or certification. The Academy may suspend access for security, misuse, academic-integrity, or safety concerns.

Payment and refunds

Certification tuition is charged once through Stripe after approval, and the published refund policy applies. Approved Course Auditing participation has no tuition and does not enter checkout.

Educational information

Course content is educational and does not replace legal advice, agency policy, licensed professional judgment, emergency services, or direction from an authorized court or supervisor.
